I discovered Fred Babb‘s art yesterday through a friend’s post on Facebook. Although Fred passed away in 2006, his colorful, playful work continues to delight and inspire with its simple but powerful messages. To read and see how Fred’s work inspires one teacher’s art lessons for kids, click here.

How wonderful! I recognize his unique style. The books by Sark use this kind of loose, whimsical approach. Isn’t it nice for a change to experience this kind of wild abandon in art? I envy how Fred could just “let go” and let it happen. Thank you for the post, BoJoda.
